Over the years we’ve worked with several clients to create modified container buildings, such as mobile offices, washrooms, guard shacks and tool cribs. We’ve listened to what our customers’ most commonly want and need in a modular building, and used that to create a line of ready to order, finished products that will meet a wide range of needs on job sites for nearly every industry.

When it comes to custom shipping container modifications and modular buildings, we always tell our customers that if they can dream it, we can build it. We’ve built a lot of interesting structures from steel containers, but our most recent custom building is unlike anything we’ve ever done before.
This 4-Storey Live Fire Training Facility was a custom build for a fire fighter training facility on Vancouver Island, BC, that will be used to simulate apartment fires. It was constructed from nine 40’ BigSteelBoxes, set on a concrete foundation and features interior stair wells that provide access through out the entire interior of the structure.

This 40’ custom Grout Workshop was just delivered to a Kiewit worksite in Fort McMurray, AB. It will be placed on a trailer and has been designed to be easily moved to other job sites across Canada as needed.
That’s the great thing about steel buildings. Not only will they stand up to any climate, they’re also very easy to move. Shipping containers are built to withstand constant movement, so they can be shipped by boat, truck or train to wherever they’re needed.
